| Eligibility |
Those who are enrolled in their third year or above of a Japanese university's science, engineering, agriculture, or pharmacy program (including IT-related fields) or who plan to enroll in a graduate program at the time of training. (Research students and international students are also eligible, regardless of nationality.) |

The official name of IAESTE is The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience, and it is commonly referred to as IAESTE. IAESTE is an international non-governmental organization that arranges overseas internships with living expenses provided for students in their third year or above in science, engineering, agriculture, and pharmaceutical sciences. IAESTE has members in more than 80 countries worldwide and has facilitated the exchange of more than 350,000 interns to date. Kyushu University supports overseas internships facilitated through IAESTE.
