This is an 11-day experiential global program to consider sustainability through “agriculture, towns, and people” in Illinois, the United States. In addition to university lectures and visits to research facilities, participants will visit farms, farmers’ markets, food banks, and other facilities to experience food and agriculture rooted in the local community. Through cross-cultural team project activities and exchanges with local students, participants will take on the challenge of solving issues based on the SDGs. In addition, they will have a rare opportunity to participate in the Farm Progress Show, the largest agricultural trade show in North America, and see the forefront of AgriTech with their own eyes.
