Eligibility
Academic Credit Credits earned at the host university during the study abroad period can be applied for credit transfer by the student's home school or graduate school upon return. If approved, these credits will be treated as credits earned at Kyushu University.

大学間交換留学とは、九州大学が海外の大学と締結した大学間学生交流協定に基づき、1学期から1年以内の期間で締結先大学に留学する制度です。留学期間中は在学扱いとなり、九州大学に授業料を納めていれば、留学先大学では授業料を徴収されません。

【Restricted subject area】

  • Business Studies courses – entry requirements vary considerably. Please note the early application deadline!
  • Law courses – at least two years of prior full time Law studies are required.
  • Psychology – only a few courses taught in English with limited places
  • Sociology – no courses at the Bachelor level are taught in English
  • Medicine – no entry-level courses taught in English. Students must have a strong academic background within Medicine and meet the entry requirements described in the course description.
  • Natural Sciences including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Engineering have few to no entry-level courses taught in English. Students must have a strong academic background within these subjects and meet the entry requirements described in the course description.
  • Places on courses taught in Swedish for those with enough Swedish language skills, can be offered if space is available. Students will be notified of the decision only after the national (Swedish) admission process has been completed.
