Application Requirements Applicants must:
-Be undergraduate or graduate students who will be 20 to 29 years old at the time of deployment.
-Be able to communicate in English (approximately TOEIC 500 or EIKEN Grade Pre-2 level or above).
-Be in good health and able to participate in overseas activities.
Meet other requirements specified in the application guidelines.

The JICA Overseas Cooperation Volunteers University Student Program aims to foster globally minded human resources by providing young people with opportunities to experience international cooperation firsthand. Through participation in volunteer activities and engagement with social and economic challenges in developing countries, participants are encouraged to think and act as future global leaders while also inspiring interest in future JOCV service.
This program offers the opportunity to serve as JICA Overseas Cooperation Volunteers for three weeks in Africa (Ghana or Malawi).
