The JICA Overseas Cooperation Volunteers University Student Program offers the opportunity to serve as JOCV volunteers for three weeks in Africa (Ghana or Malawi).

Program Activities
For three weeks between February and March 2027, participants will work alongside long-term volunteers at local host organizations in Ghana or Malawi, such as primary schools, educational institutions, and municipal offices.
Participants will contribute to addressing the needs identified by their host organizations while also implementing projects based on their own ideas and initiative. Examples of activities include: Hygiene awareness campaigns, Introduction of Japanese culture, Planning and organizing community events.
