大学間交換留学とは、九州大学が海外の大学と締結した大学間学生交流協定に基づき、１学期から１年以内の期間で締結先大学に留学する制度です。留学期間中は在学扱いとなり、九州大学に授業料を納めていれば、留学先大学では授業料を徴収されません。

【Pre-Sessional English course】
語学要件を満たしていない場合、有料のPre-sessionalコース（6週間～20週間、スコアによる）を受講することでノミネーション可能となる場合があるが、コースによってはIELTS for UKVI のスコア提出が必要となる。
